    Kuwaiti FM meets US official, expresses support for Yemen peace process

    Kuwait Foreign Minister, Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohmmad Al-Sabah met with the visiting US Special Envoy for Yemen Tim Lenderking, expressing Kuwait’s support to the efforts for peace in the fellow Arab country. At the meeting, Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Al-Nasser pledged Kuwait’s support for the continuation of the ceasefire in Yemen in order to prepare the country for comprehensive peace.

    Kuwaiti FM meets US official, expresses support for Yemen peace processThe foreign minister praised the announcement on the creation of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council and the US’ role in resolving the Yemeni crisis. Kuwait will provide assistance to Lenderking’s mission to bring stability to Yemen, he said, expressing support for the US efforts to accomplish this. In the course of the meeting, Lenderking provided Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Al-Nasser with an update on Yemen’s latest developments. Kuwait was commended as well for its unwavering commitment to bring peace and security to the Yemen region.
