SHARJAH, UAE / RankWire.AI / – Starting December 14, 2026, Air Arabia will introduce direct nonstop flights connecting Sharjah and Gdansk. The new service will link Sharjah International Airport with Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport five times per week, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This route enhances direct UAE access for northern Poland and broadens Air Arabia’s scheduled offerings within the country. Tickets are already available via the airline’s sales channels for this new route.

Air Arabia sets December start for Sharjah Gdansk route
Air Arabia expands UAE-Poland links with five weekly Sharjah-Gdansk flights.

Flights on Mondays and Saturdays, G9 0628, will depart Sharjah at 4 p.m. and arrive in Gdansk at 8 p.m., while the return, G9 0629, will leave Gdansk at 8:50 p.m. and land in Sharjah at 6:10 a.m. the next day. On Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, departures from Sharjah are scheduled for 8:15 a.m., with Gdansk-bound flights leaving at 1:05 p.m. and arriving in Sharjah at 10:25 p.m. All timings are local.

Gdansk will become Air Arabia’s fourth Polish destination from Sharjah once the December services commence. The airline already connects Krakow and Warsaw Chopin Airport from its Sharjah hub. Additionally, Air Arabia will launch four weekly flights to Katowice starting December 17, 2026, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. These expansions will extend the airline’s direct Poland network beyond the existing two cities, offering travelers more options.

Gdansk Joins Air Arabia’s Growing Polish Route Network

The Gdansk route is part of Air Arabia’s broader European schedule from Sharjah, which includes destinations such as Milan Bergamo, Munich, Vienna, Athens, Prague, Krakow, Warsaw Chopin, London Gatwick, and Rome. The airline has also announced upcoming services to Frankfurt and Katowice, further strengthening its presence across Europe. Gdansk provides a new gateway on Poland’s Baltic coast, offering travelers in the Pomeranian region a direct scheduled connection to the UAE via Sharjah.

Adel Al Ali, CEO of Air Arabia Group, highlighted the significance of adding Gdansk to their expanding Polish network. Tomasz Kloskowski, President of Gdansk Airport, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of the direct Sharjah route for the Pomeranian region. The airport serves as a transfer hub for destinations in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and East Africa. The wider Tri-City area, including Gdansk, Gdynia, and Sopot, along with other northern Polish communities, benefits from this new route.

Five Weekly Flights Connect Sharjah with Gdansk

Air Arabia’s fleet, composed of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, will operate this route. Bookings are now open through the airline’s website, call center, and travel agencies. The schedule lists G9 0628 and G9 0629 for the Monday and Saturday flights, while Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday flights will operate as G9 0626 from Sharjah and G9 0627 from Gdansk. These five weekly rotations will offer nonstop, round-trip service between the two airports.

The December 14 launch to Gdansk will precede the start of Air Arabia’s Katowice service by three days. With existing connections to Krakow and Warsaw, the airline’s Polish network will then include four cities. Passengers from Gdansk will have five weekly nonstop options in each direction, according to the published schedule. As of August 26, 2026, Air Arabia maintains the December 14 launch date and the five-flight weekly schedule for the Sharjah-Gdansk route.
